Samba Please...............

Not the damn dance... You now can sign sudo root in terminal, why for this.

Normal users can mount samba seeing its installed and these lines are added.

chmod 4755 /usr/bin/smbmnt

chmod 4755 /usr/bin/smbumount

To sudo, Set root password

Set root password........In terminal du....

sudo passwd root

This makes life a lot easier...

Enable DMA

sudo hdparm -d1 /dev/hdc

To apply at boot you need to edit the /etc/hdparm.conf} script.
To do this use this command: 

sudo gedit /etc/hdparm.conf

Add the following to the end of your hdparm.conf

•    /dev/hdc {
    dma = on
    }
   

Enable multimedia

DVD playback run this script in terminal..

sudo /usr/share/doc/libdvdread3/examples/install-css.sh
